Home Support Workers
Housekeepers

HOUSEKEEPERS
You will be responsible for providing light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry and errands to clients in their own homes. Housekeepers are needed for service in the areas of: Tillsonburg, Woodstock, Ingersoll, Norwich, Aylmer and Port Burwell. You will receive training and certification in the MSC Housekeeping Program.

The number of hours worked will depend on the number of new housekeeping client referrals, however, the housekeeper is expected to accept all available work up to a maximum. Benefits eligibility is contingent upon working an average of a minimum of 25 hours per week.

The preferred candidate will have:

Previous experience in the areas of housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry and running errands
A reliable vehicle
A valid driver's licence
Ability to read and write English proficiently
To submit upon successful interview outcomes, an acceptable vulnerable police records check
To submit upon successful interview outcomes, an acceptable Pre-Placement medical

The MSC will train and certify successful candidates as a "CERTIFIED HOUSEKEEPING SUPPORT WORKER".

HOME SUPPORT WORKERS
You will be responsible for providing personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry and errands for clients in their own homes. Home Support Workers are needed for service in the areas of: Tillsonburg, Woodstock, Ingersoll, Aylmer and Port Burwell.

The number of hours worked will depend on the number of new client referrals, however, the Home Support Worker is expected to accept all available work up to a maximum.

The preferred candidate will:

Have previous experience in the areas community home support
Have a valid certificate as a PSW, HCA, RPN, DSW, HSW 111, Home Support Attendant Certificate or equivalent
Provide upon request current certification in First Aid and CPR
We willing to accept work in Tillsonburg, Woodstock, South-West Oxford and East Elgin regions
Be available every second weekend and all offered Mon-Friday shifts
Have a reliable vehicle
Have a valid driver's license, appropriate insurance coverage
Have ability to read and write English proficiently
Submit upon request an acceptable vulnerable police records check
